Eclipse trailer makes its debut on Oprah

Twilight Eclipse trailer released on OprahInstead of epic romance, the Twilight Eclipse trailer that was released on Oprah today focuses on the battle of forces that could be played out in Twilight Eclipse. No matter in case you are Team Jacob or Team Edward, now is the time to secure your pay day loans to buy tickets to the movie. If you’re not a fan of Twilight, Eclipse, or any of saga, you can use the cash to purchase Underworld Evolution, or maybe a couple of copies of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Twilight Eclipse trailer debuts on Oprah

A 10-second clip of the Eclipse trailer was premiered by the studio yesterday. This morning on Oprah, the full Eclipse trailer was premiered. This Twilight Eclipse trailer release was greeted with squeals of excitement, applause, and even an introduction by Dakota Fanning.

What the story behind Twilight Eclipse is

A vampire, Edward and a human, Bella, fall in love during the first two episodes of the Twilight saga. You will find, of course, lots of troubles that Edward and Bella run into – just like every other “doomed” couple in literature. The Twilight Eclipse trailer reveals that a warewolf sprinting around without a shirt and other vampires aren’t the only problems. A large vampire army is building, threatening the peaceful vampires. The vampire army presents enough of a threat the full love triangle has to team up to fight off the new threat. Lots of drama follows, of course. Eclipse is not the final chapter of the saga, though thousands of fans got the best pay day loans to be able to read the book at midnight.

Plans for the rest of the Twilight Saga

The Twilight Eclipse trailer gives us just a glimpse of one of the middle chapters of this saga. Eclipse is the third movie, and can be released on June 30. Plans for Twilight : Breaking Dawn are confirmed, and might very well be split into two movies, shot back-to-back, just like the Harry Potter series.

Radar Online Pings A Chelsea Handler Sex Tape

In what Radar Online considers to be an “exclusive,” a VHS tape that depicts a 23-year-old Chelsea Handler has surfaced. The recording begins with Chelsea in her apartment showing off her standup, but it soon becomes a XXX sex tape featuring Handler and an unknown British male. In what seems like a flash, the recording easily cuts back to the standup routine. Chelsea Handler said on her E! Network program “Chelsea Lately” that Radar Online’s sex tape claim was bogus because she’d only made the tape to make a big impact when auditioning for a job at a LA comedy club during the days when she frequently was in need of a loan. “I would like to say to Radar Online: A) thanks for ruining my surprise Christmas gift to my staff, an! d number two, it was made as a joke. I put it on an audition tape for a comedy club because I’m a comedian,” said Handler.

Sexually explicit comedy is Chelsea Handler’s stock-in-trade

In her standup routines and self-penned books like “My Horizontal Life,” “Are You There, Vodka? It is Me, Chelsea” and “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang,” Chelsea Handler has spoken at length about her sexual experiences and other Vodka-fueled ventures as a gregarious single woman. The stories are in turns amusing and outrageous, and almost never family fare. It’s not a stretch to assume that the so-called Chelsea Handler sex tape was simply a laugh-and-shock means to an end: getting a job.

What’s with the editing and who’s that Brit?

However, the editing of the tape has caused blogs like The Hollywood Gossip to question whether Chelsea Handler really intended the sex be used as part of a club audition. But Chelsea Handler has stuck to her guns. But it is interesting to note that in her books, she identifies a former British boyfriend (who goes unnamed, naturally). Chelsea cared about this boyfriend, but he ended up betraying her. Now that “Chelsea Handler” is one of the biggest brand names in comedy, could it be that the previous British boyfriend was looking for a payoff or wanted to knock her down a peg?

If such is the case, then clearly “British Bob” doesn’t know who he’s dealing with. Handler revealed on her program that “someone” once tried to get her to pay $ 1,000,000 to keep the tape from hitting the tabloids. In typical Chelsea fashion, the comedian rebuffed the unnamed blackmailer, saying “No thanks. I am not worth it.”

Kids With Williams Syndrome Do not Judge Peers Depending on Race

According to The New York Daily News, kids that have the rare gene disorder Williams syndrome aren’t subject to the racial biases present in their peers.. Average people tend to gravitate toward favoring their own ethnic group once they reach the age of 3, according to behavioral experts. Andreas Meyer-Lindenberg of the University of Heidelberg states that Williams syndrome children don’t develop this common tendency. Those children known to be suffering from Williams syndrome did not show favoritism toward their own racial group or bias against other races in tests, as opposed to non-Williams syndrome kids that were tested.

Williams syndrome and what it means to be hypersocial

The lack of a specific gene presents a major social stumbling block for Williams syndrome sufferers, indicate some scientists. On the one hand, they don’t suffer from racial bias or social anxiety due to their hypersocial nature. If they could apply for no fax payday loans no credit check, they wouldn’t be afraid to ask. These kids are highly verbal and overly social. But on the down side, social danger signals are invisible to Williams syndrome kids, says Meyer-Lindenberg. The result is that Williams syndrome children cannot discern via subtle cues whether somebody is about to strike them, for instance. Williams syndrome children have to face not only being unable to read essential body language cues, but additionally such symptoms as mental retardation, heart abnormalities and non-standard facial features, according to Wikipedia.

But Williams syndrome mountains aren’t unscalable

Williams syndrome children can learn to protect themselves against violent behavior, indicates Meyer-Lindenberg. And who among us would consider being able to socialize easily a handicap? Aside from other Williams syndrome side-effects like mental retardation, heart defects and non-standard facial features, things aren’t that bad. We could all stand to be a lot more comfortable in social situations, because it is there that humanity strives to its fullest extent to grow and change. Social interaction helps us all grow. Staying in contact – and using a few bad credit installment loans along the way – can make all the main difference.

Steve Jobs Calls Flash Top Reason Macs Crash, Says No Thanks

Steve Jobs is apparently saying that Abode Flash and Apple products like the iPod, iPhone and iPad will certainly never be seen together, as outlined by Fox News. Tech fans were wondering if jobs would cave to the pressure, as flash videos are nevertheless used often on sites. However, Steve Jobs’ “Thoughts on Flash” letter should mean less instant cash for Adobe, as the Apple CEO gives six well-reasoned arguments for why Flash video won’t mix with the iCrowd. Jobs has serious philosophical and technical concerns about Adobe Flash, chief among them the fact Flash videos frequently cause OS crashes.

Flash call by Steve Jobs draws Adobe's ire

Fox News reports that Adobe Flash evangelist Lee Brimelow didn’t say anything nice concerning Steve Jobs and his Flash stance:

"Speaking purely for myself, I would like to make it clear what is going through my mind at the moment. Go screw yourself, Apple.”

Apple didn’t feel it was necessary to respond to such a well-constructed missive. Jobs is a lot more interested in pointing out that Flash is proprietary product, and that he is against closed products that “stifle innovation.” He is more in favor of HTML5 as an open standards platform. Job's argument didn't consist of the fact most Apple products are also propriety, but he was just beginning. He continued by reminding all the readers that Flash is an old technology that could easily be replaced with “more modern formats” like H.264 that do not cause as many crashes.

Flash, Flash, crash

What’s the real problem here? Steve Jobs says Flash gets in the way. As stated in his "Thoughts on Flash,":

“We know from painful experience that letting a third-party layer of software come between the platform and the developer ultimately results in sub-standard apps and hinders the enhancement and progress of the platform. We cannot be at the mercy of a third party deciding if and when they will make our enhancements available to our developers.”

How does Adobe feel about getting called a 3rd wheel? Aside from such eloquent statements as Brimelow’s, all is quiet on the Adobe front. Media, programmers, and others all give off a sense that Adobe is dying. Lance Ulanoff from PC Magazine called the Steve Jobs Flash bash “an incredible attack on Flash, (one that) could shake its very foundations.”.

The Kelley Blue Book Is An IPhone App That Shows Used Car’s Trade In Value

The Kelley Blue Book Is An IPhone App That Shows Used Car's Trade In Value

The ultimate source for determining the market value of used cars for auto financing is Kelley Blue Book. But Kelley Blue Book has come a long way given that Les Kelley published his first guide to used car values in 1926. Kelley Blue Book has evolved from the pamphlet for your pocket to a web based resource library and automobile search engine with its one free Kelley Blue Book iPhone app.

Kelley Blue Book, used cars and much a lot more

With its release of its choices for the Top 10 Green Cars for 2010, Kelley Blue Book demonstrated its clout on Monday. This announcement, ranking the Toyota Prius at the top of the list, received many coverage from news outlets across the US. The Kelley Blue Book list of Top 10 Green Cars for 2010 involves a selection of autos for all purposes, from the Honda Insight Hybrid at number two to the Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid at number 10. If someone wants an auto loan for one of these cars, they can go to Kelley Blue Book, enter a zip code, and find a location of a dealer willing to offer them a good price.

Free Kelley Blue Book iPhone app

The Kelley Blue Book free iPhone app offers a Seller’s Toolkit that lets you access the book value of the car you are looking at by plugging your iPhone directly into the Kelley Blue Book database. You will be able to find trade in value, locations of dealers, reviews, and check out 360 degree views of the auto. If you are selling a vehicle, the Kelley Blue Book free iPhone app has quicklinks to Kelley Blue Book’s site so buyers can find your vehicle, and tools to create slick ads for craigslist, Twitter, Facebook, e-mail or blog.

Trade in value of Kelley Blue Book used cars

A used cars trade in value is determined by Kelley Blue Book by more than just the make, model, and miles. The condition of a used vehicle is judged with tough criteria for car loans. Unless the used vehicle is showroom immaculate, a well-kept vehicle will likely be judged as “good,” rather than “excellent.” Cars that need a little a lot more work are “fair” and smoking, sputtering heaps are “poor.” What is interesting about the factors used by Kelley Blue Book for trade in value is location, which is why it is important to enter a zip code when you enter the Kelley Blue Book site. An example would be an SUV which will be worth a lot more in Montana than in Miami. A Corvette convertible is worth a lot more in San Diego than North Dakota.

Kelley Blue Book is the used cars bible

Kelley Blue Book has been successful enough that it is now universally known as the "book" that yields prices for used cars and trade in prices. Today, wheeling and dealing consists of standard terms like “what’s the book?” “over book” and “under book.” The terms blue book and blue book value have been trademarked by Kelley Blue Book.

New iPhone prototype found in Redwood City bar

iPhone1-240x160
So a tech blogger walks into a bar and finds the next iPhone prototype. Stop me if you’ve heard this one…

Really, Gizmodo may have gotten the severe scoop with a fortuitous discovery of just what appears to be a prototype of the next iPhone (iPhone 4G?). It was really found it in a Redwood City bar by a Gizmodo reporter. After checking with John Gruber of Daring Fireball, who’s Apple connected, Gizmodo discovered that Apple had lost a prototype and was “very interested” in getting it back. Whether they were ready to use payday loans to sic Sherlock Holmes on the case is unclear.

In 3GS clothing, an iPhone prototype

On the surface, the plastic case of the iPhone prototype looks more or less like an iPhone 3GS. However, you will find numerous details that make this new iPhone something quite different:

  • Front-facing video camera in addition to a back camera with a flash and larger lens
  • Micro-SIM – a lot more secure, a lot more storage, a lot more allowable connections. This would be the first use of this tech in a U.S. cell phone
  • Higher-res display (exact numbers unclear so far)
  • A second microphone port and 2nd volume button
  • Metal buttons
  • A flatter, more squared-off design
  • Higher-powered battery… 5.25 WHr (watt hours) at 3.7V, in contrast to 4.75 WHr in the iPhone 3GS

Red herring or new iPhone?

Gizmodo believes that this new iPhone is a discovery for a number of reasons. First of all, it was sprinting the iPhone 4. operating system before that OS was even announced. Second thing, the iPhone was killed likely before Gizmodo could get any further into the OS. When it is connected to a Mac OS X system, the device was recognized as an iPhone in both Xcode and iTunes, but no firmware updates were available, which indicated to Gizmodo that this was an unreleased unit. According to Gizmodo, as the Mac OS X System Profiler reported it as an iPhone in restore mode seems to mean the phone was “remotely wiped.”

Under the hood is where you'll find the proof

The components on the inside are Apple-labeled and fit together very well inside the case. Gizmodo claims that if this were 3G or 3GS parts in some modified housing, then the parts wouldn’t fit so well. They feel that it was thus designed for that case. Speaking of the case, it is thinner than the 3GS, but slightly heavier (possibly because of the metal buttons). However, the design appeared to be somewhat less sleek than consumers are used to with Apple products. It is kind of ugly, like tax debt, and is boxier where iPhones before have had more curves. The iPhone being a prototype might be the excuse for this though.

Consumers want to know what this means

This summer, the next-gen iPhone is going to be announced. If the iPhone prototype found by Gizmodo is any indication, individuals waiting to upgrade may want to take the plunge. A better back camera, a better battery, a second microphone for better voice clarity, and a front video cam addresses some of fans' major concerns. Sexy up the case and Apple may just have a deal.

South Park 201 Became Censored After Treats Of Death By Muslims

South Park being censored? That isn't a surprise for everyone who watches the show. But, the censoring of South Park 201 marks a new milestone for bleeping for the show that is apparently created specifically to attract the attention of censors. After getting death threats from a Muslim group, Comedy Central began censoring the show. Obviously, Muslims watch South Park. They consider any physical representation of their prophet — cartoon, sculpture, drawing, movie, etc. — to be blasphemous, and within the case of extremists, punishable by death.

Censored South Park 201

Censored Wednesday night on Comedy Central and denied network approval for streaming online, South Park 201 was expected by fans who watch South Park to reveal a likeness of Muhammad. In episode 200, the character was concealed by a bearsuit. In episode 201, the Muhammad character comes out but it blacked out by a censor bar. The characters name is bleeped out whenever it is spoken.

South Park 201 censored: funnier that original?

South Park 201, censored by Comedy Central following the group RevolutionMuslim.com published the death threat, may have actually delivered a bigger laugh pay day for many who watch South Park. It might be said that South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker used the occasion as an opportunity for self-parody, not to mention an incredible surge of publicity no amount of pay day cash could buy.

Extremists offended by extreme South Park episodes

The wrath of RevolutionMuslim.com was brought out by South Park episode 200 which depicted Muhammad in a bear suit. Parker and Stone probably imagined what could have happened in the subsequent South Park episodes after the group’s site published a post claiming that they “outright insulted” the Prophet:

“We have to warn Matt and Trey that what doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show,” the post read. “This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.”

The post showed a graphic photo of a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in Amsterdam in 2004 for making a film about Muslim women that offended Muslims, named Theo Van Gogh. The text listed the addresses of Comedy Central’s New York office and Parker and Stone’s California production office.

More South Park episodes

Other South Park episodes censored contain one that aired in 2006 when Parker and Stone wanted to weigh in on a controversy involving Muslim death threats motivated by caricatures of Muhammad published in a Danish newspaper. The extra cash that would have come from depicting an image of Muhammad in that South Park episode was passed on by Comedy Central. Episode 201 is not accessible for streaming on the South Park website. Instead of video, a box contains the message:

“After we delivered the show, and prior to broadcast, Comedy Central placed numerous additional audio bleeps throughout the episode. We do not have network approval to stream our original version of the show.”
