Susan Powell Nevertheless Missing, Idaho Remains Not A Match

There were hopes this morning that skeletal remains found in southern Idaho may be those of Susan Powell. However, investigators say the body was not that of Susan Powell, and also the West Valley, Utah, resident is still considered a missing person. Because Ammon, just outside of Idaho Falls, is within a day’s drive of West Valley City, detectives contacted those investigating Susan Powell’s disappearance. Police departments on both sides of the border have confirmed the body found in Idaho is not Susan Powell. Because of the time forensic testing may take, it could take six weeks or more to identify the body found in Ammon.
