Criminals John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch caught

Two of one of the most wanted criminals in the nation, Casslyn Welch and John McCluskey, have been arrested. For some reason, there are repeated comparisons to Bonnie and Clyde. They escaped from an Arizona State prison about a month ago. They’ve been on the run ever since. Places the two were thought to have been spotted in ranged from Yellowstone National Park to Arkansas. They were in an Arizona State Park when a Park Ranger called in their stolen vehicle’s license plate number, leading to their apprehension. Spotted by park ranger

An unnamed Park Ranger made the catch. He was on patrol in Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. The park ranger found a campsite, with a suspiciously parked vehicle, as outlined by ABC, which he called in to have checked out. When it came back stolen, he alerted police. The identities of the two were discovered after SWAT showed up and caught them for grand theft auto. They were arrested peacefully. John McCluskey said that he would have fired on police had he not been caught off guard. McCluskey and his fiancĂ© Casslyn Welch, who’s also his cousin, were taken without incident.

The actual search is out

After John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch broke out of Arizona State Prison with fellow inmates Tracy Province and Daniel Renwick, a massive manhunt went underway. Province and Renwick were captured soon after, and McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and in Butte, Mon. Butte was the last sighting of the two. They are also thought, according to the Associated Press, to be linked to the murder of Gary and Linda Haas in New Mexico. The bodies of the Haases were found in their burnt trailer around Aug. 4. The stolen automobile Welch and McCluskey were driving had New Mexico plates.

Somewhat much less murderer compared to real Bonnie and Clyde

For some reason, people have a romantic notion about Clyde and Bonnie types. Clyde and Bonnie weren’t very romantic either; Clyde was gay, and they stole money from the people that cheered them before the FDIC existed. They are violent criminals, and it is better they go back to behind bars. There should be a medal for the Ranger who called them in. He should at least get a raise.
