iPhone OS4: Multitasking and more coming for iPhone

Apple has already moved onto the iPhone OS4, even though iPad apps are the biggest thing to a lot of people right now. This Thursday at Apple Headquarters, iPhone OS4 will be previewed in a “sneak peek” press event. Don’t worry about getting no fax payday loans no credit check to fund your tech addiction yet, though – nothing but the fact there can be an iPhone OS4 is official yet.

iPhone OS4 will operate iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

The iPhone isn’t the only device that will run the iPhone OS4. Several devices, including the just-barely-released iPad run on the iPhone OS. The Apple iPhone OS4 will be the first update to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch since 2009. Nobody is certain yet what changes the iPhone OS4 will include, but it is certain there could be some big ones.

Will the iPad benefit from the iPhone OS4?

The iPhone OS3 currently runs the newly-released iPad. While iPad apps are based on this iPhone system, there have been complaints. Multi-tasking was the most-requested pre-release feature of the iPad. The Apple iPhone OS4 may use Apple’s Expose as a basis for multi-tasking. iPad apps could run many-at-a-time. The iPhone OS4 may allow your iPad app to run Twitter at the very same time your iPad app to calculate You can run iPad apps to calculate debt consolidation at the same time you run your Facebook app.

When should I expect the iPhone OS4?

Of course, the Apple iPhone OS4 details won’t be known before the announcement event. If the OS3 is any indication, the Apple iPhone OS4 won’t be released for a while. OS3 was previewed in March of 2009, but was not released until June. Your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad most likely won’t run iPhone OS4 until late summer.
